FRANÇOIS VINCENT TOUSSAINT

LES MŒURS – THE MANNERS – DIE SITTEN
BIBLIOGRAPHY

Back in 2004 this was an account to give a complete bibliography of the existing editions of Les Mœurs by Panage (i.e. François Vincent Toussaint), first published in 1748. It wasn’t finished when I left it. Now, in 2020, I know it will never be finished. At least done by me. So if you ever attempt to create a better version please feel free to use everything on this page.

I’ve collected editions mentioned in…

  1. printed bibliographies
  2. libraries
  3. private collections

Summary

Les Mœurs

Eclaircissements sur les Mœurs

Die Sitten [german]

The Manners [english]

Microfilms

The introduction from the translator of the German edition (p. XIII) mentions translations into Dutch and Italian, which until now I could not verify.
